Everything is better in a bowl no? These days for me, yes. Anything in a bowl makes it more appealing.
I’m not even sure why. Perhaps the ease of getting all of your main and sides in one place to play off each in a way that is impossible on a plate.
I make bowls all the time and this one is pretty traditional. Curry goat, white rice, fried plantain, and some ripe avocado. There are endless combinations you can create but they are pretty foolproof if you stick to a protein, a grain (I often use farro instead of white rice), avocado, and plantain.
It doesn’t get any better then that.
